Matthew Schaefer, DO
Dr. Matthew Schaefer is a private practice nephrologist with San Antonio Kidney Disease Center. He earned his doctoral degree in osteopathic medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University. He then attended medical school at the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in nephrology. Dr. Schaefer is a member of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, the Renal Physicians Association, the American Society of Nephrology, and the Texas Medical Association.
